06/05/2020: Lobby Opening
Dear Customers and Friends:
Thanks for your patience and understanding over the last 2 1/2 months. During this difficult time for our nation, our employees have been working hard to adapt our services to meet your unique challenges, while also doing our part to help keep our communities safe from this “invisible virus.” We are proud to have mantained our high level of customer service while also supporting some great not-for-profit organizations in our communities. We feel fortunate to be able to help.
As the “re-opening” of our state’s economy seems to be going well, we are excited to welcome you back into our lobbies on Monday, June 15th. The lobbies will be open during our normal business hours. The one exception will be our office located at 408 W Washinton Street in Cuba, which will remain accessible only through the drive-thru lane.
While this is a great step in getting back to normal, you will notice a few changes we’ve implemented for your safety:
- Plastic shields have been installed at various locations throughout the bank to protect you and our employees.
- In line with CDC guidance, we ask that you respect all social distancing guidelines by maintaining at least a 6 ft. distance between you and other individuals. There will be signs and floor decals to help with this important health guideline.
- You are welcome to wear a mask inside the bank, but we ask that you lower it briefly to allow an employee to identify you.
- There will be plenty of hand sanitizer available and our staff has been well trained to regularly disinfect common area surfaces multiple times throughout the day.
Of course, our drive-thru lanes and our mobile banking app are still available and we encourage you to utilize these fast and convenient options to help with routine, less complex transactions. If you would like more information on our mobile banking technology, please visit our website at https://www.peoplesbk.com/mobile-banking/
As always, thanks for the opportunity to serve you. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us or any member of the Peoples Bank Family.
